Twisted Silver

Today, I am eager to talk to you all about my love of accessories, especially when they are unique and unlike anything you'd find everyday. To me, Twisted Silver is one of those brands. Debra Mitchell is the founder, designer, and creative director of Twisted Silver. All of her pieces are made in the USA and are not mass produced. Meaning that all these designs are limited and so once they sell out, they're gone forever. Most of the pieces from Twisted Silver are made of recycled/"up cycled" parts, making the ordinary, extraordinary!

 Twisted Hoops

The Twisted hoops are " a fresh update on the classic wear every-day twisted. Feather light, substantially crafted, spot on trend.
I love the simplicity of these earrings. They're something a little more special than your every day hoop earring. You'll notice that with all the pieces featured today, they all have the the Twisted Silver tag which I think is a cute "little something extra".

 Lucky Penny Necklace

Twisted Silver described the Lucky Penny Necklace as a 1975 minted lucky penny captured in time on a swingy antiqued brass bead chain.
I love this necklace for some many reasons. First, being that this necklace is convertible. You can wear it as a long chain or double it up and wear it as a double chain necklace. Second, the idea of the "lucky penny" brings me back to my childhood, "See a penny, pick it up, all day long, you'll have good luck."
Creekwalk Necklace

The Creekwalk necklace is described by Twisted Silver as, "tossed away glass pearls from Japan circa 1950 were on their way to self destruction - eroding paint and oxidgizing metals, but are now sealed in their natural perfectly imperfect sate. Inspired by a creek walk, now it's ready for the catwalk."
Out of these 3 pieces, this one has to be one of my favorites. I love the mix of metals and the intricate details put into where the clasps meet. The pearls really make this piece!
